Job Description
Engineering: HVAC – Technician
System Operation: Operate and monitor the daily performance of Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) systems, Air Handling Units (AHUs), and chillers across OSD and sterile manufacturing blocks.
Parameter Monitoring: Routinely check and record critical environmental parameters, including differential pressures (DP), room temperatures, and relative humidity (%RH), ensuring they remain within validated limits.
Preventive Maintenance: Execute scheduled maintenance tasks such as cleaning and replacing pre-filters, micro-filters, and HEPA filters, as well as checking belt tensions and motor alignments.
Breakdown Troubleshooting: Attend to real-time HVAC system alarms, motor failures, damper malfunctions, or pressure drops to minimize production downtime.
Cleanroom Compliance: Assist in cleanroom validation activities, including HEPA filter integrity testing (PAO/DOP test), air velocity measurements, and particle counting.
BMS Monitoring: Operate and monitor the Building Management System (BMS) terminal to identify and report any out-of-limit deviations instantly.
Documentation & Logbooks: Maintain accurate, real-time entries in AHU logbooks, filter cleaning records, and preventive maintenance checklists in compliance with cGMP standards.
Safety & PPE: Follow standard engineering safety protocols, lock-out/tag-out (LOTO) procedures, and wear appropriate PPE when working inside technical areas or cleanrooms.
