Job Description
The ideal candidate should possess strong hands-on expertise in mammalian cell culture, molecular and cellular assays, gene/protein expression studies, mechanistic biology, and advanced in vitro models, along with the ability to independently design, execute, analyse, and interpret scientific experiments.
Exposure to biologics, peptides, regenerative medicine, oncology, neuroscience, immunology, drug delivery systems, or translational therapeutic research will be preferred. The role requires collaboration with multidisciplinary teams including medicinal chemistry, pharmacology, analytical sciences, DMPK, and bioinformatics while contributing to scientific publications, technical documentation, patents, and innovation-driven research programs.
Key Requirements:
• PhD/M.Tech/MSc/M.Pharm in Cell Biology, Molecular Biology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Life Sciences, Biomedical Sciences, Pharmacology, or related fields
• Hands-on experience in mammalian cell culture and molecular biology lab with exposure on PCR/qPCR, DNA/RNA extraction, Western blotting, ELISA, fluorescence/confocal microscopy, flow cytometry, and cellular/biochemical in-vitro assays
• Experience in cell viability, proliferation, apoptosis, autophagy, migration, uptake, and mechanistic biology studies
• Exposure to peptide therapeutics, biologics/NBEs, nanotechnology, biomaterials, or drug delivery systems will be advantageous.
• Experience with 3D cell culture, spheroids/organoids, zebrafish/in vivo models, or translational biology will be an added advantage
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced multidisciplinary R&D environment
• Strong publication record and translational/industrial research exposure preferred
• Good communication, mentoring, collaboration, and project management skills
