Job Description
Role Objective:
To ensure HR legal governance, employee & field-force relations (ER), and labour compliance across Corporate, Sales and Plant locations. The role ensures legal risk mitigation, supports disciplinary processes, and facilitates harmonious industrial relations (IR) with consistent application of policies across zones and units.
Key Responsibilities
1. HR Legal Advisory
Advise Sales HR, Plant HR and Business Leaders on applicable labour and employment laws (ID Act, CLRA, Factories Act, Shops & Establishments, POSH Act, Social Security Codes).
Draft and review HR policies, warning letters, inquiry notices, appointment/contract templates, separation documentation.
Liaise with external counsels for notices, legal submissions, documentation and case strategy.
2. Employee & Field Force Relations
Manage misconduct case investigations and coordinate domestic inquiries end-to-end.
Ensure uniform and lawful disciplinary action across field-force, plants and corporate teams.
Partner with Zonal HR Leads / Sales HRBPs on grievance management, conduct issues, and escalation handling.
Maintain ER trackers, case MIS and structured reports for leadership.
3. Industrial Relations (IR) Support
Support Plant HR and Sales HR in union/representative body discussions, worker committee meetings and dispute resolution.
Assist in Long-Term Settlement (LTS) preparation – data, clause reviews, documents and talking points.
Monitor early warning indicators and drive preventive ER/IR intervention plans.
4. Labour Compliance Management
Ensure statutory compliance across corporate, plants, depots, and sales offices (Incl Contract workers).
Support inspections, audits, compliance certifications and statutory submissions.
5. Contract Labour Governance
Validate contractor license coverage, wage payments, PF/ESIC contributions, muster rolls and returns.
Conduct periodic contractor compliance audits with HR Ops / Plant HR / Sales HR and ensure remediation.
6. POSH Compliance
Serve as IC Coordinator / Member, as applicable.
Support complaint inquiry handling, documentation, reporting, and employee sensitization sessions.
7. Capability Building & Advisory
Conduct legal & ER discipline training for Sales Managers (RBM/ZBM), Plant Supervisors & HRBPs.
Provide HR Legal/ER advisory during restructuring, redeployment, performance concerns or separation cases.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
Education
Mandatory: MSW / MBA-HR / LLB
Preferred: Certification in Labour Law / Industrial Relations
Experience
6–12 years of HR Legal / ER / IR experience in Pharma / FMCG / Manufacturing / Field Sales environments.
Hands-on experience in domestic inquiries, compliance audits, government authority interactions, and multi-location ER support.
