Responsibility
Lab demonstration & scale up of new DMF and NDMF molecules, Process Optimization
before Scale-up activities, Execution of Kilo Lab batches & technology transfer activity.
Principal Tasks and Responsibilities:
Understanding the process in details with concerned scientist with experiments in the
lab. Suggest/Discuss problem that may arise at plant level prospect.
Study the operational parameters of different unit operations like crystallization,
distillation, drying, and extraction and optimize those parameters based on energy basis,
cost basis, safety concerns accordingly.
Preparing list of facility requirement like equipment, utilities at Production.
To find out the root cause of the failed batches in plant and take up experiments based on
the proposed solution.
Solvent recovery and system capacity enhancement.
Scale up of products from R&D to plant scale by doing engineering calculations and
observing the kinetics involved in the reaction.
Responsible for all documents / records maintained properly. Ensure old records are
archived properly and are retrievable.
To maintain quality and safety standards in Lab and Kilo lab.
Prepare trend analysis of various tests, trials & experiments in order to arrive at
logical conclusions by using dynochem.
Co-ordinate with Maintenance regarding breakdown and preventive maintenance of
equipment’s or facility.
Coordination with R&D, TT, ARL, EHS, Engineering Dept. and Plant for smooth
functioning of Lab & Technology Transfer activities.
PSD related batches/experiments plan in Air Jet mill/Multimill.
Crystallization and polymorphic studies.
XRD and PSD analysis and handling of instruments.
