MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Performsallproceduresnecessarytoensurethesafetyofinformationsystemsassetsandtoprotectsystemsfromintentionalorinadvertentaccessordestruction.
Ensuresthatusercommunityunderstandsandadherestonecessaryprocedurestomaintainsecurity.
Mayrequirefamiliaritywithdomainstructures,userauthentication,anddigitalsignatures.
Conductsaccurateevaluationofthelevelofsecurityrequired.
Requiresanunderstandingoffirewalltheoryandconfiguration.
Hasin-depthknowledgeofintrusiondetectionandInternetarchitecture.
Mustbeabletoweighbusinessneedsagainstsecurityconcernsandarticulateissuestomanagement.
Maycoachorprovideguidancetolower-levelsecurityprofessionals.
