Job Description
- Lead formulation development of complex injectable products, including liposomes, microspheres, nanoparticles, emulsions, suspensions, non-aqueous systems, and lyophilized injectables. Responsibilities include conceptualization, proof-of-concept development, prototype formulation, stability studies, and technology transfer.
- Exposure to or experience in nasal and ophthalmic formulations is desirable.
- Hands-on experience with formulation and processing equipment such as homogenizers, microfluidizers, and lyophilizers.
- Support scale-up activities from laboratory to pilot and commercial manufacturing scales for injectable products.
- Actively participate in troubleshooting, risk assessment, and development of mitigation strategies for complex formulation challenges.
- Design and execute pre-formulation and formulation studies, including process development and optimization using Design of Experiments (DoE) principles.
- Apply Quality by Design (QbD) principles for systematic product and process development.
- Evaluate and implement new technologies, materials, and equipment to enhance organizational capabilities.
- Conduct in-depth literature reviews to stay updated on formulation trends, emerging technologies, and competitor products.
Qualification - M.Pharma/Ph. D
