Job Description:

Johnson & Johnson announced plans to separate our Orthopaedics business to establish a standalone orthopaedics company, operating as DePuy Synthes. The process of the planned separation is anticipated to be completed within 18 to 24 months, subject to legal requirements, including consultation with works councils and other employee representative bodies, as may be required, regulatory approvals and other customary conditions and approvals. DePuy Synthes is recruiting for a Assistant Manager - Channel Management, located in Mumbai, Indai

A highly critical and visible commercial operations role that will oversee Channel Management for entire DPS franchise for India business. This is a hands-on position responsible for Channel Management, CSA Management, 3P Management, Set/Instrumentation Management, Due Diligence, compliance, and audits that will enable the franchise to meet sales and service objectives. Collaboration with other members of the sales, supply chain, sales, marketing, deliver, Regulatory affairs, and customer support teams is paramount to achieving objectives.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

- Channel Management,

- End to end Third party Intermediary (TPI/Dealers) Management

- CSA Management

- Sales 3P Management

- Set/Instrumentation management

- Digital solutions implementation

- Support Secondary Sales compilation and incentives payments

- Due diligence and compliance with all commercial processes and handling different audits for the same.

  • Commercial Operations

  • Building Channel Strategy & design, work with functional partners to understand Inventory coordination & sales tracking

  • Understand pricing and trade promotion impact on channel and build basis market insights and optimization

  • Ensure CSA Management end to end (ensuring practices are compliant & audited)

  • Sales 3P Management (Ensuring end to end management of all complexities)

  • Proactive facilitating, re-engineering, best practices & consensus between functional experts (Sales & Marketing, Operations, Finance, and IT)

  • Master data management

§ Project Management & DATA Analytics

  • Manage assigned data flows & dashboards.

  • Train users on using these dashboards.

  • Identify opportunities for automation best practices & analytics opportunities

  • Improve customer experience with assigned reports

  • Independently drive or support assigned analytics project

  • Develop & define project scope, Project Budget, Resource plan, Interdependencies, Operational & executional plans & Integrated schedule

§ Other

  • Prepare, report, and communicate key KPIs to management

  • Work with the extended support team in preparing basic MIS, communicating the MIS to the sales teams on a daily/ weekly basis

  • Develop advanced MIS for the franchise to enable them to make data driven decisions

  • Communicate daily/ weekly with National Sales Managers and Regional Sales Managers to monitor sales performance and track potential shortfalls.

Qualifications - External

  • Master’s degree in business administration, Marketing, or a related field.

  • Proven experience in distribution network management, channel management, commercial operations or a similar role.

  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

  • Analytical mindset with proficiency in data analysis tools.

  • Knowledge of industry and market trends.

  • Ability to travel is needed to support network activities.
