Job   Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Lab Assistant / Pilot Plant Technician to manage day-to-day execution of lab and pilot-scale activities, ensure smooth operation of laboratory equipment, and maintain overall upkeep, safety, and readiness of the lab. The role requires hands-on technical expertise, strong discipline in maintenance, and coordination for procurement of lab equipment and consumables.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute experimental, testing, and pilot-scale activities as per plan.
• Operate, monitor, and maintain laboratory and pilot-scale equipment
• Perform routine maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting of instruments
• Ensure proper upkeep, cleanliness, and organization of the laboratory
• Maintain equipment logs, maintenance records, and lab documentation
• Support engineers/scientists during trials, scale-up, and validation activities

Required Skills & Competencies

• Hands-on experience in managing lab or pilot-scale facilities
• Strong understanding of equipment operation and preventive maintenance
• Basic knowledge of safety practices and lab compliance requirements
• Good documentation, coordination, and communication skills
• Proactive approach toward lab readiness and problem-solving

Qualification: Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Chemical / Mechanical / Electrical / Instrumentation or related

Experience

Tenure: 4-7   years of relevant experience
