Territory Sales Manager
This is responsible for promoting and selling a portfolio of technical and/or nontechnical products and/or services and solutions directly to current and new end customers. Will also inform customers of new product/service introductions and prices. He/she will also create, monitor and revise lead generation plans to ensure a substantive sales opportunity pipeline
What you will do:
- Implement sales activities to achieve budgeted sales and profitability goal for the assigned area / territory.
- Support Regional Sales Business Manager to promote products to individual doctors & hospitals in assigned region.
- Reach out to identify new business opportunities by means of tender & government businesses.
- Ensure efficient use of company's demo units in the territory.
- Collaborate & cooperate with ABM / ZSM as & when required.
- Retain key accounts & explore new accounts/business opportunities to build Strykers‘ customer pool
- Identify, develop & manage different channels of business (distributors & direct sales) in the area.
- Provide solutions to customers to meet their specifications on the basis of techno-commercial discussions
- Upgrade existing customers to newer technologies.
What You Need:
- Bachelor’s degree in Medical Sciences, Sales & Marketing, Life Sciences, or a related discipline.
- 4-8 years of sales experience within the healthcare, medical device, surgical products, clinical products, biotechnology, or pharmaceutical industries.
- Strong understanding of sales processes and the ability to effectively manage the full sales cycle.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong customer and stakeholder relationships.
- Technical aptitude and the ability to understand and articulate the scientific and technological aspects of healthcare products and equipment.
- Demonstrated ownership, accountability, and a results-driven approach to achieving business objectives.
- Ability to assess customer and channel partner needs, identify market opportunities, and leverage product and brand knowledge to drive sales growth.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to develop basic business plans, learn quickly, and adapt selling and marketing strategies to changing market dynamics.
